Sunday Celebration! Journey Into the Unknown with Stephen Hoog

The talk will follow my life through questioning the religion that I was brought up with, exploring Eastern philosophies, building a career in Holistic Health Counseling, and recently drumming to build community. Since my late teens I was always concerned about how to live on the earth in a sustainable manner, so I made life choices that were often strange and unusual.

Born in Bucks County and trained as a Social Studies teacher, I switched gears to eventually become a Macrobiotic Dietary Counselor and Shiatsu practitioner. But I was connected to nature so I have done Wild Food Walks since 1975, grown numerous gardens and have studied and taught permaculture principles. In addition, I have done Cranio Sacral work, Lymphatic Drainage and Emotional Release Work. Recently I have been speaking about the importance of Natural Birthing and expanding Drum Circle facilitation.
