Title of Talk  Your Good Genius is Home

In this talk we will examine the make-up of our intelligence, the functioning of our Ordinary Mind, and the presence of what Socrates called our Good Genius, which is the home of all of the Better Angels of our nature. Life is better than you think!

David Richman, founder of Better Angels Publishing, has been a writer, researcher and speaker in the field of Personal Development since the early 1970s. He is also a veteran business consultant with a specialty in messaging. Combining his long-term experience in these two disciplines, his goal to produce works that are inspiring, as well as entertaining.

He is currently preparing to release a breakthrough inner growth program called “Core Resilience Training.” Designed to help people grow from Self-Sabotage to Self-Empowerment, this practical and easy-to-use guide is based on his decades of experience with understandings and techniques from Ancient Wisdom though to modern neuroscience. With simplicity and a light touch, state-of-the art insights from the world of Human Potential are presented in a format that is accessible to everyone.

As a contemporary author, David has written a memoir called “Wilt, Ike & Me,” which is a heartfelt look back at the extraordinary days when his father founded the Philadelphia 76ers and moved basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain into their home. But it’s also much more than that. The story takes a dramatic, metaphysical turn, causing David to look for deeper meanings in life, which led to his initial interest in inner growth.

His next book, “The Friend at the End,” is about the major stroke he suffered in 2011. Beginning with a profound near-death experience, and culminating with a rare, complete recovery, it presents a wealth of uplifting realizations, viewed from an inspiring, life-affirming perspective.
