Prayer and Ceremony on the Road

Cynthia Greb recently returned from a six-month-long pilgrimage around the country. She visited sacred sites and beloved friends and saw so much incredible beauty. She also made it a point to pay respects at the places where sorrow and horror had left their mark. These were places like Indian boarding schools, Japanese-American internment camps, the Trail of Tears, and the many places where hundreds of indigenous people were killed in the most brutal of ways. Often the spirits are at unrest at these places. Cynthia has learned that a certain kind of ceremony can assist them in moving to a higher plane where they can join with their ancestors and, at long last, find peace and healing.

Bio
Cynthia Greb is an interfaith minister, a writer, a speaker, and a bit of a pilgrim. Although she has a background in the healthcare field, her current passions lie with being an advocate for the Earth and for the indigenous people who once lived so closely upon her. Her travel has taken her to many of the ancient earth mounds that blanket this continent. She is president of the board of Arrows for American Indians.
