Sunday Celebration! The Spiritual Adventures of Micah and Elouise (A Father’s Day Tale) w/Michael Shoeman

Michael Shoeman will be joining us, in-person, for his talk: The Spiritual Adventures of Micah and Elouise (A Father’s Day Tale).

In this heartfelt and playful talk, Michael Shoeman shares real-life spiritual conversations with his children, Micah (9) and Elouise (4). Through simple, honest moments, he explores how curiosity, imagination, and love shape the way we understand the world.

From tracking numerology during five days of labor leading up to Micah’s birth on Father’s Day weekend, to following the minute-by-minute astrology of a lunar eclipse when Elouise was born, Michael reflects on the meaningful patterns he noticed as his children entered the world.

Blending storytelling with reflection, Michael will read selected entries from his #DaddyJournal, including:

“Everything Is Magic”

“Who Is Coming To Save Us?”

“The Warrior”

“Never Stop Asking ‘Why?’”

“Elouise Learns About Ancestral Mathematics”

Together, these stories invite listeners into a space where parenting becomes a spiritual practice, and where the questions children ask open the door to deeper understanding, wonder, and connection.

This Father’s Day tale is not just about raising children—it’s about learning from them, and rediscovering the magic in everyday life.

Bio: Michael Shoeman is a dedicated husband and father to his wife Laura of thirteen years and their two children, Micah (9) and Elouise (4). His work is rooted in family, community, and a deep commitment to creating spaces where people can connect, listen, and grow together.

Michael recently served four years on the Board of Directors for Circle of Miracles and is currently in his third year as a ministry candidate with the 8th Flame Fellowship. He is now stepping into a new role as Chief Steward of The Living Library Time Bank, where he is helping to develop new ways for people to collaborate, share time, and build trust through meaningful conversation.

He is the author of three books: “The Living Library: A Human-AI Collaboration”, “The Karmic Margin Call: Emergent Intelligence, Time Banking and the Redistribution of Global Wealth”, and “Natural Law and Regenerative Economies”. His work explores how human connection, conversation, and emerging technologies can support more balanced and regenerative systems.

Michael is also producing a new podcast, “Divination and Money Management”, and serves as producer, director, and actor in “The Wizard of Iz”, a play designed to open compassionate conversations around suicidality and bullying.

In addition, he is enjoying a growing role as a creative producer, supporting performers in spiritual communities in bringing their visions from the page to the stage.

Through all of his work, Michael is passionate about helping people discover new ways of relating—to themselves, to each other, and to the systems we all share.
