A brief introduction to buddhist philosophy and how it may help dealing with our current state of affairs

Bio: My name is John Whitney Jr (ikkyu, crazy cloud). I am Okinawan Croation and Serbian. My spiritual journey began as a teenager fascinated by Magick and ancient pagan beliefs. As I got older I started to study native American philosophy and eastern philosophy to try and understand my asian heritage better. I found Joseph Campbell , Ram Dass and Chyongyom Trumpa who I consider some of my first gurus but must also include Vernon Moves Camp a native American fancy dancer and tribal lawyer. About 5 years later I met a friend who introduced me to Dzog Che. I recieved enpowerments from Nom kai Norbu and Worlong Dorje. I have been practicing it since then. I believe it is my purpose to express my love and compassion through my actions and the dharma.
