Sunday Celebration! The Wizard of Iz: Scenes From a Play Exploring Spirituality and Mental Health

The Wizard of Iz has been lauded as a cross between Disney’s “Inside Out” and the Albert Brooks film, “Defending Your Life”. The play is a whimsical and humorous experience tackling the topics of suicide awareness and bullying. Janet and Nefertiti have been performing the play for seven years presenting at schools, spiritual communities, mental health facilities and conferences. During the course of the tour it was decided to omit a spiritually motivated scene. At Circle of Miracles, Janet and Nefertiti will revisit this deleted scene which asks the question, “Do we agree to take on our life struggles before incarnating?”
