Reverent Regard –  A beginner’s shamanic drumming journey circle

You’re invited to join us in this 1.5 hour guided exploration of the other realms.  We will come together as interconnected individuals to create a sacred space and experience this ancient earth-based tool for healing, learning and guidance.

In this circle you will:

  • Learn to set up an altar (a visual and energetic focal point)
  • Participate in using drum and rattle to open a sacred space
  • Learn about the culture of circle process
  • Learn about the shamanic journey, and how it can be respectfully utilized in modern times
  • Explore the intentional practice of question crafting
  • Experience a guided shamanic drumming  journey
  • Have the opportunity to meet and engage with a shamanic ally
  • Journal or draw to download the wisdom you receive from the other realms
  • Participate in using drum and rattle to close a sacred space

Please bring:

  • A curious mind
  • An open heart
  • A yoga mat or beach towel to define a space for yourself
  • Pillows, blankets, cushions and/or towels to create a cozy nest in your space
  • An eye mask or clean hand towel to block out light during the journey
  • Something to write with
  • Something to write on

You may also enjoy having:

  • A bottle of water and/or travel mug with tea
  • Your own drum and beater and/or rattles if you have them
  • Tissues, lip balm, and/or cough drops
  • Cozy socks
  • Sacred items to add to the altar space (there is no “wrong” here – if you’re called to bring it – please do)
