Class Description
Join this Chair Yoga class to invigorate your body, connect with your breath and open your heart. The class is a moving meditation, while offering alignment pointers, to protect and honor the body. Includes standing and seated postures, breath work, chanting, and meditation. Improve your health and enrich your life. All are welcome.
Please set up your computer between 10:20am and 10:25 am. Have a sturdy/steady chair on a yoga mat, preferably not far from a wall (which is used from time to time). Also have 1 or 2 yoga blocks and a strap, belt or tie handy. From time to time a second chair is needed.
If you have any questions during class, please unmute yourself to ask your question. Don’t be shy! Remember to honor your body and respect any limitations you may have. Enjoy!
About Joanne
Joanne Gorelick has taught yoga and chair yoga since 2007 when she completed her first 200 hour yoga teacher training. In 2008, Joanne graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, certified as a health coach. She has been an enthusiastic student of Advaita Vedanta, the Hindu Scriptures, since 2010, finding truth in its teachings. She is also a Reiki master and has been influenced by ISHA yoga, A Course in Miracles, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and various other spiritual teachers. In 2021, Joanne started studying Autonomic Response Testing under Dr. Dietricht Klinghardt, which seeks to determine the health of the body in terms of its light. As Joanne continues along her spiritual path, she is eager to share what she has learned with others.
