World Labyrinth Day

Saturday, May 7, 2022

12:30-3:00 PM

Facilitator: Glenda Smith & COM Garden Committee

Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience. Many “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next. This year we will be utilizing the outcomes from the first Big Connection on World Labyrinth Day 2021 to go deeper into the investigation of building heart centered labyrinth communities that are called to awakened action in service to themselves and the planet.

As the COM Garden Committee is facilitating this event it is suggest to bring plants for our outdoor planters and shade plants for the gardens around the entrance. We will be walking for the specific cause of the Environment (championing conservation to preserve the earth). Some examples of this category: The practice of caring for Earth’s natural resources, Reducing pollution around the world, Achieving clean water for all, & Increasing all efforts dealing with climate change.

Please arrive by 12:30 PM to learn how you can participate in this year’s research if you desire and prepare to walk at 1:00 PM.
