"Armor of Light"

"We are heartbroken again after the mass shooting in Texas and before we have even begun to heal as a nation from Vegas, the largest mass shooting in US history. As the nation's focus turns to Texas and gun violence prevention, we are turning our grief into action. Please join Moms Demand Action to watch a moving documentary that follows the trials of conscious between an Evangelist Minister and a mother, whose son was a victim of gun violence. The movie will conclude with action plans to turn our "helplessness" to "helpful " steps to make a difference in our communities, our state and our country."

Join Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America for a special screening of a documentary film,THE ARMOR OF LIGHT. The film follows an Evangelical minister and the mother of a teenage shooting victim who ask, is it possible to be both pro-gun and pro-life? Through their trials of conscience, heartbreak and rejection, as they bravely attempt to make others consider America’s gun culture through a moral lens. The film is also a courageous look at our fractured political culture and an assertion that it is, indeed, possible for people to come together across deep party lines to find common ground.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a non-partisan, grassroots organization that started after the shooting at Sandy Hook School in December 2012.  We are not anti-gun; we are anti-gun violence.  We work for sensible gun legislation, like background checks and teach gun owners the importance of always keeping guns secured and locked away from children.
